Golden Hour

Micro Retreat

Thursday October 23rd
5-8.30 pm, Apex, NC

It’s about enoughness.

A space of belonging -

without pressure or comparison.

You don’t have to change anything, just learn to see yourself in the best light.

Golden hour is when the light softens and everything feels more alive, radiant, and beautiful — not because things are different, but because the light helps you appreciate what’s already here.

Your golden hour: a pause to slow down, soften, and notice your own glow.

Who This Retreat is For — and Why It Might Be Just What You Need

Frequently asked questions

Not at all! This is about exploring, not performing. The practice is gentle and accessible — with plenty of modifications so everyone can find their own edge, whether you're brand new or have years of experience.

There’s space to go deeper if you choose — so wherever you are on your path, you’ll be met, supported, and inspired.

Just beside Jordan Lake (Hwy 64), you’ll find SkyPond — a hidden gem designed for small groups to slow down, connect, and reflect. SkyPond, 118 Rocky Rd, Apex, NC 27523

Yes, a delicious, nourishing homemade vegetarian meal — lovingly prepared, served, and enjoyed together.

A balanced mix of mindful movement, calming breathwork, simple reflection or journaling, and space to connect — with yourself, nature, and likeminded souls. Think of it as going deeper than a regular class, without any pressure or fuss.

We have a backup plan — SkyPond has a yoga studio upstairs in the renovated tobacco barn.

If you can’t make it, no worries — you can save your credit and use it for any upcoming Yoga Explorer class, workshop, or retreat.

We’re happy to help you find something that works for you!

The Golden Hour Micro retreat is 3.5 hours . Long enough to feel spacious and restorative, but short enough to fit into your day.

Bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothes you can move in, a water bottle, and maybe a notebook or journal if you’d like to jot down reflections. We’ll take care of the rest.

Just come as you are. There’s no need to prepare — simply show up, breathe, and enjoy the chance to move, rest, and reconnect with what’s next.

Testimonials

"Outdoor yoga with Tina is so energizing! Being in the open air puts me in the the perfect mindset to receive Tina’s gentle guidance for breathing, movement, and yoga philosophy. "

-Anna Wetterberg

"It’s very easy during the week to get caught up in the “to do list” and stresses of everyday life. My yoga practice centers my thinking and for that hour prioritizes the fundamentals of my body. Tuesday night yoga causes me to focus on my body and being present for that hour of practice. It physically challenges me but brings relaxation and a deep sense of wellbeing. I enjoy that this hour gives me permission to concentrate on myself. I find that I am more than ready for that reaffirmation when the next week rolls around. It’s a vital part of my week. Thanks for all of the guidance you provide."

-Kathy Shear

"This was my first experience doing yoga. I enjoyed the class so much that I have continued practicing yoga. Tina is a great instructor. She explained every move and gave us different options to try. I am so grateful that she was willing to teach us and it was really fun to do it outdoors. "
