ABOUT OFFERINGSSCHEDULE

when “not now” becomes a habit 🤔

So, do you recognize this ?

- You’re tired and want to leave, but stay because everyone else is still there.

- You notice you need a break, but keep going because you’re almost finished.

- Something bothers you, but you tell yourself it’s probably not worth saying anything.

It usually starts with things that seem too small to matter.

None of these moments feels important enough to call a decision.

But every time we notice something and override it, we practice the same response:

Not now.
It’s fine.
I can deal with it later.

And I wonder if that’s how we slowly get used to ignoring ourselves.

Because eventually, the things we’re postponing aren’t so small.

- You hate your job, but keep telling yourself maybe it will get better.

- You’ve wanted to move for years, but somehow there’s never a “right” time.

- You know you need to make that appointment, but another month goes by.

By then, overriding yourself is familiar.

You’ve practiced it.

So instead of listening to the first clear signal, you explain it away.

You wait. You tell yourself it’s not serious enough yet.

The small things don’t cause the big things. But they may teach us a habit:

I can hear myself clearly and still choose not to respond.

And maybe the opposite is true too.

Maybe listening to the small things is practice for listening when something bigger is asking for your attention.

So this week, notice one of those tiny moments.

The moment you know what you need before you start negotiating with yourself.

And ask:

What happens if I listen this time?
